Zealandier Tours info page

Zealandier Tours - Offering fully escorted tours, our objective is to ensure that our guests enjoy the scenic splendor and unique culture of every destination. Our emphasis is on comfort, hospitality and, of course, Christianity.

Zealandier is built on Four Core Values:

1) Vision - “where there is no vision the people lack direction”. Vision is the power unit that provides the motivation; it is why mankind climbs Mt Everest, traverses the South Pole, and leaves footprints on the Moon. Our vision is to make your dream holiday a reality.

2) Value - we see every person as value – not in a monetary sense but as someone who has something of value to contribute. We will learn as much from you as you will on your journey with us. We ALL have value!

3) Community - no one is an island – we came from somewhere, we are here for a purpose, and we are going somewhere. One of the major motivators of Zealandier is to infuse people with the joy of travel, to encourage, to empower, to enthuse, by sharing in sights, sounds and companionship as we travel together revelling in the goodness and greatness and provision of this wonderful world we live in. We are all connected.

4) Balance - defined as 'what is needed to provide equilibrium'. We all are comprised of Body Soul and Spirit. We know how to nurture our bodies with food and clothing; we know how to nurture our souls by caring and tending to our emotions – but what about our spirits? At Zealandier we try very hard to provide an atmosphere that will bring life and nourishment to our spirits. Our desire is to bring balance to all those who we come in contact with.

We extend an invitation to you all to travel with us as we believe that it is these Core Values that set us apart from others who are in a similar industry.

Coaches - We use high quality coaches, large and small. These give maximum visibility, air suspension comfort and superior seating. Coach Captains are professional drivers with an in-depth knowledge of their surroundings.

Accommodation - We place high emphasis on hospitality, service, comfort and cleanliness. Where possible all rooms will have modern and self catering facilities. Restaurants are at most accommodation venues and alternate eateries are usually within walking distance.

Rates are based on share twin; there will be an extra cost for single accommodation.

A Zealandier tour is ideal if travelling alone and is a great opportunity to meet new people, who are like-minded. We offer the opportunity of sharing if requested and will endeavor to match you up with another traveller of the same gender. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed.

Luggage - We recommend that you use smaller, light luggage rather than large heavy cumbersome baggage.

Meals - All breakfasts are included and evening meals where indicated.

Meeting and departure points - All Zealandier Tours start and finish at the specified accommodation venues listed on any one particular itinerary. Should you require transport to or from these venues we will arrange this for you at your cost.

Christian Travel Enriches Lives

To the Editor

Dear Sir

"I will praise you, O Lord, with my whole heart, I will tell of all your marvellous works" Ps.9;1

My husaband, my sister, my daughter and myself have recently returned from an eleven day tour of the South Island with Zealandier Tours. We travelled from Christchurch to Mount Cook and onto Omarama, to Dunedin, Invercargill and the Bluff, Manapouri, Milford Sound, Queenstown, the glaciers and from Authurs Pass by train back to Christchurch.

Our tour managers, Mike Sowter and Jan Davies, cared for our every need and made the tour a resounding success. We returned refreshed and invigorated.

Zealandier Tours is a Christian company and we recommend them to anyone interested.

Yours sincerely

Holiday Euphoria

Letters to the Editor

Challenge Weekly - NZ

Dear Sir,

My wife and I have just returned to Australia from a magnificent holiday tour through the majestic scenery of New Zealand's South Island. Nothing unusual about that, except that this is a tour we would thoroughly recommend to other Christians considering holiday travel through your beautiful country. Zealandier Tours (www.zealandier.co.nz) is a Christian based organisation, and our tour was in a 12-seater Mercedes-Benz coach, which allowed for several excursions that would have been inaccessible in a larger coach. Every need on tour was attended to by the coach hostess, catering for personal interests and preferences, including Christian music during travel. The coach captain shared his comprehensive knowledge of the country and led the group in prayer at the beginning and end of each day's journey.

It was a relaxing and refreshing holiday, full of surprises and all in the joy of Christian fellowship.

Christchurch and Dunedin daily papers.

Dear Sir,

My wife and I have just returned home to Australia from a magnificent holiday tour through the majestic scenery of New Zealand's South Island. Your hospitality industry is to be congratulated on it's top service. Everywhere we went the people at motels, restaurants and tourist activities were professional, polite and very friendly. We travelled with Zealandier Tours (www.zealandier.co.nz), a Christian based company specialising in inspirational holidays. The coach captain and hostess were exceptionally caring, going out of their way to provide a relaxing and incredibly interesting holiday.

Well done NZ!
